I threw this playlist together at the last minute because I wanted to post something, so it may not be as good or as well thought out at the other ones, but at least it’s something. I probably will not have one next week because I am running low on ideas, but there will be a new episode of the podcast on Tuesday and I think it is my best episode yet, so stay tuned.

Playlist: Greatest Rap Songs of Ever
Like I have said before it is that time of the year again, Black History Month, and in honor of all the presidents out there I have created a special playlist featuring 23 of my favorite rap songs of all time. Usually I like to have an idea of what the playlist will be for the next week, but right now I am not sure what I am going to do because I have been spending a lot more time trying to get the podcast off the ground, so maybe I will have a playlist and maybe I won't, but I promise you that I will have a new episode of the Useless Radio Show up on Tuesday so stay tuned for that.

Playlist: Little Known Bands: Part III
I finally got a around to doing part 3 of this on going series and like I said before this is a list of bands that I have found over the past year or so and have come to appreciate. There are several parts still to come, but as I pointed out yesterday it is black history month so next week I am going to do a playlist of the best rap/hip hop songs of all time so stay tuned.

Playlist: Not Acoustic
Last week I posted a playlist of acoustic songs and this week you are getting the non-acoustic versions of those songs so you can compare them. And next week you should get ‘Little Known Bands: Part III’ as I have been promising for awhile now, so stay tuned.
Note: I was unable to find two of the songs anywhere (The Ataris - Eight of Nine and The Starting Line – Playing Favorites) so I was forced to skip them, sorry.

Playlist: Acoustic
I lied two weeks ago when I said ‘Little Known Bands: Part III’ was coming, well it is still coming, but not for a couple weeks because I need to put some more work into it still and I want to give you something different in the mean time. I love the sound of the acoustic guitar and I am going to use this week to share some of my favorite acoustic tracks with you. Bayside: Acoustic and Fall Out Boy: My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue are two of my favorite CDs ever and they are both acoustic so expect tracks from them plus several other tracks in this playlist. Stay tuned next week and you will get the non acoustic versions to compare these to and ‘Little Known Bands: Part III’ should be ready the week after.

Playlist: Little Known Bands
This is a list of bands that I have found in 2008 and have really come to enjoy. You may be familiar with some of them, but chances are you are not, because they are not popular yet and they only have like one CD out or just an EP or two. I must point out that the bands are in no particular order; it has nothing to do with how much I like them. And please let me know if you like any of these songs, or if I have turned you on to any new bands. There are a lot of new bands out there so I will have to split this up into several posts so stay tuned next week for part 2.

Playlist: Fueled By Ramen
Fueled By Ramen is probably my favorite record label right now because it houses several of my current favorite bands, all of which you will here from in this post. FBR also found such bands as Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard which you have most likely heard of. Like I said earlier you will be hearing from the entire lineup of current artist on FBR and you will see why it is my favorite label. Next week I will be giving you a playlist of some of the artists that I have found over the past year so stay tuned.

Christmas Special Part 2
As promised here is part 2 which features many of my favorite bands performing my favorite classic Christmas tunes, rounded out with several tracks by Relient K, because I think they do Christmas best. Next week I will likely be posting a playlist featuring all the artists from Fueled By Ramen so stay tuned.
And here is a Christmas video from one of the Fueled By Ramen artists, VersaEmerge.

Playlist: Christmas Special Part 1
Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I think Christmas music is the perfect thing to include on this blog because who doesn’t love Christmas music. If you are a reader of my other blog Frickin’ Useless I have posted something similar over there, and that is pretty much what led me to the idea of creating Useless Radio. This list is composed of original tracks by some of my favorite bands today. I would like to keep these playlists under 23 songs so I had to pick and chose my favorites. Stay tuned next week when I will be bringing you my favorite classic Christmas jingles covered by some of my favorite bands.

Playlist: Current Favorite Bands
I think it is important for me to play some of my favorite songs for you right now so you can kind of see where I am coming from with my music selections. If you like any of these artists and want to hear more, or have any suggestions leave them in the comments. Next week I will be showing off some of my favorite bands playing Christmas music so stay tuned.
