Weekly Recap: 6/21 – 6/27

News:
  1. Say Anything's first single "Hate Everyone" has been mixed. Also, their new album is going to be more like Is A Real Boy... part 2.
  2. Mayday Parade have set a release date of October 6, 2009 for their upcoming untitled album.
  3. According to Matt Thiessen's twitter, Relient K's new album will feature 11 songs, seven of which are already completed.
  4. Cartel will be releasing a new single "real soon."
  5. Paramore will release Brand New Eyes on September 29th. The first single, "Ignorance," will be released July 7th. A clip of the song can be heard here.
  6. The Almost have finished recording their new record and will have it released "in a few months."
  7. Blink-182's "Up All Night" will see a release after it finishes being tracked next week.
  8. Panic at the Disco's new single, "New Perspective," will hit radio on August 17th.

  8. Boys Like Girls' new single "Love Drunk" is currently premiering on myspace and is available for purchase on Amazon MP3. Love Drunk hits stores on September 8th.
  9. Action Item has posted "Boy With a Microphone" on myspace. The song will hit iTunes in July with a remix done by The Secret Handshake.

  2. Red Car Wire have completed their new EP, From the Start. It's scheduled for release this summer.

  1. Anberlin is now on Purevolume's sessions.
  2. The Higher's new album, It's Only Natural, can be streamed in its entirety on Purevolume.
  3. A new Hit The Lights song titled "Coast To Coast" has been posted on myspace. The track is taken from the band's forthcoming digital EP of the same name, which will be released on June 23rd.
  4. Cute is What We Aim For have posted a b-side off Rotation, entitled "Through to You," on their myspace. The song was written by both Shaant and Dave.
  5. All Time Low has posted "Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)" on their Myspace page. This track is off their upcoming album, Nothing Personal, which hits streets on July 7th.
  6. The Cab's EP, Lady Luck, is streaming over at their purevolume page.
  7. Third Eye Blind's new single, "Don't Believe a Word," can be heard here.
  8. TV/TV have posted a new song on myspace.
  9. Settings has posted a new song titled “Do It Again” on myspace. The new song is from the band's forthcoming EP Platinum which they recorded with Orgy frontman Jay Gordon earlier this year. The band has retracted their statement about a July release date for the EP and have left it open ended about a new date.The band will also be performing on the Warped tour this summer.
  10. Have You Heard has posted a new song on their myspace.
