6. Noel has quit Oasis. Message from Noel: It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. Florida alt-rock outfit Anberlin is still riding high on the success of its 2008 album, "New Surrender." The band's first release on Universal Republic, the set not only landed at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release, it also spawned a No. 1 Hot Modern Rock Track ("Feel Good Drag").

Anberlin recently stopped by Billboard.com's studios to perform "Breaking," the new single from "New Surrender," as well as an acoustic cover of the Danzig song "Mother," and also to reflect on the band's success.
