Weekly Recap: 10/4 – 10/10

News:
  1. Anberlin breaks the alternative chart record for consecutive weeks on the charts. Previous record was 52 weeks held by 30 Seconds to Mars with their song "The Kill."
  2. Dashboard Confessional will be releasing Alter The Ending on November 10th. What hasn't been announced yet though is the deal with it being a double-disc release. Well here is why... both CD's will include all of the same songs - 1 CD will be a "full band" version of all the songs and the 2nd CD will be an "acoustic" version of all the songs.
  3. We the Kings' new album will be making kids smile December 8, 2009, not November 17 as previously reported.
  4. The Rocket Summer will be releasing a new digital EP, You Gotta Believe, in anticipation for his upcoming full-length on October 27th.

  1. Steel Train's new EP will be called the Steel Train is Here EP - a new song can be found here.
  2. A Rocket to the Moon's new album, On Your Side, is streaming here.
  3. Cartel has posted "The Perfect Mistake" from their new album Cycles on myspace. The album is set for release on October 20th via Wind Up.
  4. The Almost's new single "Hands" is streaming on the band's myspace page.
  5. The Summer Set's new album Love Like This is streaming on their website.
  6. Stream a b-side from Set Your Goals' new album, featuring Jordan from New Found Glory, here.
  7. Out of Ashes, the debut album from Dead by Sunrise - the new band fronted by Linkin Park's Chester Bennington - is available for streaming in its entirety on the group's mypace page.
  8. Runner Runner has posed a new song on myspace.
  9. Every Avenue's new song "Tell Me I'm A Wreck," from their upcoming album Picture Perfect, premieres today on Myspace Music.
